How long before I see a difference in my skin?
Skin renews itself over weeks, so give Asta7 at least 8 to 12 weeks of daily use. Results vary and also depend on sun protection, sleep, hydration and diet.
Can Asta7 replace my sunscreen?
No. Asta7 supports your skin from the inside, but it does not protect you from UV. Keep using sunscreen every day.
Does Asta7 contain collagen?
No. It contains 80 mg of vitamin C, which the body needs for its own normal collagen formation. You can take Asta7 alongside a collagen supplement if you already use one.
Will astaxanthin turn my skin orange?
No. 4 mg of astaxanthin a day is a commonly used amount and is not expected to change your skin colour.
Why should I take it with a meal?
Astaxanthin and vitamin E are fat-soluble. They are absorbed better when taken with food that contains some fat, such as lunch or dinner.
Will it treat acne, pigmentation or hair fall?
No. Asta7 is a daily nutritional supplement, not a treatment. Acne, pigmentation and hair fall have many causes, so if they persist, see a dermatologist.
I have a blood test coming up. Do I need to tell anyone?
Yes. Asta7 contains 100 mcg of biotin, which can affect some lab tests, including thyroid tests. Tell your doctor or the lab that you take it. They may ask you to pause it for a few days before the test.
Can I take it with my multivitamin or with ThyroVerve?
Check your multivitamin label for biotin, zinc, selenium and vitamins C and E, and ask your doctor or pharmacist if it already gives full daily amounts. With ThyroVerve, the combined selenium is 95 mcg a day, which is within the safe upper limit. Speak to your doctor first if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or on medication.
